Reports to:
Operations Manager

Description:

  • Creates and maintains publications and other documents.
  • Researches and develops writing projects from available resources
  • Proofreads graphics, text, and composed pages assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in a mechanical, electrical, or software technical field.
  • Three years technical writing experience.
  • The ability to accurately read and interpret all varieties of engineering and client documents
  • The ability to comply with multiple, company specific writing standards.
  • The ability to accurately proofread technical writing and illustrations.
  • The ability to shift schedules and directions and quickly develop alternatives and contingencies in response to changes in plans and schedules.
  • The ability to gain cooperation from personnel on all levels.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent software skills in one or more document authoring environment
  • Excellent skills working with various document and graphics formats and the ability to transfer files.

Other requirements:

  • Record time on various projects and submit this record to Accent on the 1st and 16th of each month.
  • Ability to follow Accent rules, guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to follow clients rules, guidelines, and procedures on an as-needed basis
