Programmer Analyst

Reports to:
Supervisor of Web Development and Programming

Description:

  • Develops complex programming code in support of Web application development and content management that meet various business needs
  • Assumes responsibility for project management on assigned projects
  • Assists and trains less technically inclined employees in website and Internet matters
  • Works with business unit champions and subject matter experts to develop detailed requirements definition
  • Develops efficient and documented code
  • Develops custom static and dynamic web pages
  • Develops interfaces with internal and external relational dbms such as MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
  • Works in conjunction with database administrator to develop informational databases
  • Remains current on Java, JSP, J2EE

Qualifications:

  • Requires a computer-related college degree or equivalent
  • Requires 2 years of experience in a variety of Internet and website development assignments
  • Requires understanding of dynamic and active Web content and use of HTML, XML , Java, JSP, and SQL
  • Requires excellent communication, organization and documentation skills

Specific Training Required:

  • Training in ISO 9001:2000 procedures used by Accent
  • Training in the operation of new software and software upgrades used in the performance of assigned duties
  • Training in the operation of new hardware and upgrades used in the performance of assigned duties
  • Training in Accent rules, guidelines, and procedures
  • Training in client's rules, guidelines and procedures on an as-needed basis
  • Safety training as specified and required by Accent
  • Safety training as specified and required by client regarding that company's work environment.
